ARISE: Aboriginal Artists Development Program
The Aboriginal Regional Arts Alliance is offering an amazing new program! ARISE: Aboriginal Artists Development Program is a groundbreaking initiative designed to support Aboriginal Artists and Cultural Practitioners living in Regional and Remote NSW. Over 12 weeks, this transformative program provides tailored workshops and mentoring to equip participants with the skills, confidence, and tools to commercialise their creative practices and build sustainable careers in the arts.
Whether you are an emerging or established artist, ARISE will help you refine your brand, understand the legal and business aspects of art commercialisation, and pitch your work to galleries, retailers, or new audiences.
Participants who fully complete both ARISE and Pathways to Presence may also be selected to receive comprehensive support to attend a major national art market, providing unparalleled exposure to industry professionals and collectors.
Please note: Dates may change at the discretion of ARAA.
About the Program
Taking place online in 2025, ARISE features six intensive workshops delivered fortnightly via Zoom. Participants will engage with expert facilitators in areas such as branding, legal considerations, and market readiness while receiving personalised mentoring to address their individual goals.
