Waste 2 Art
WASTE 2 ART 2025 OPEN NOW//
It’s time to turn that trash into treasure.
NetWaste, Coonamble Shire Council and Outback Arts are collaborating once again to host the annual Waste 2 Art Competition and Exhibition, giving aspiring and professional artists the chance to explore and share their waste reduction message and provide a wonderful opportunity for all community members including children, to showcase their artistic ability.
If you are stuck for inspiration, the theme for 2025, is toys - however, artworks created using any material normally considered waste are encouraged to be entered.
Each category carries a financial prize with the winners going to the Regional Exhibition and Competition.
Outback Arts is thrilled to partner with NetWaste to accept entries from our surrounding councils. We are now welcoming submissions from Bourke, Brewarrina, Coonamble, Cobar, Walgett, and Warren. Residents of Bogan Shire are invited to enter through their own local competition supported by NetWaste.
